Gina is a key member of the executive team leading the Copper Peak Organizing Committee. In this role, she is responsible for oversight of Copper Peak Sports & Entertainment (CPSE), the entity created by the Copper Peak Board of Directors, to develop, manage and execute national and international sports competitions and entertainment events at Copper Peak. Gina ensures that CPSE events are designed and executed with a long term focus on impacting economic development for the City of Ironwood and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula region. She is president of Stormy Kromer, a division of Jacquart Fabric Products and is responsible for leading the marketing, sales, public relations and new product development for the 110 year old brand. She has significant experience in the non-profit world having served as a business systems analyst for Big Thought, a nationally recognized non-profit organization focused on innovation and problem solving for public education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Arts Management and a minor in music/voice from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from Goucher College in Baltimore, MD. Gina is a member of the Copper Peak Board of Directors Women Presidents Organization, sits on the Small Business Association of Michigan’s Leadership Council as well as the University of Wisconsin-Stout Apparel Design & Development Industry Advisory Board and the Ironwood Economic Development Corporation.
