Cindy joined the Copper Peak organization in January 2017 as a volunteer working as a communication, marketing and public relations consultant and mentor. She holds degrees in Healthcare Administration with a focus on Public Relations and Marketing. She served as a faculty member at Finlandia University and Gogebic Community College teaching speech, leadership and communications. Currently she owns Franck Communications and Consulting and is a Certified Life Coach with an emphasis on holistic health and wellness, Cindy is the co-creator of a mentoring program for women called “The Dandelion Project”. She currently serves as a leadership and communication consultant, facilitator and trainer for businesses, groups and organizations. A lifelong volunteer, Cindy created and taught leadership seminars and workshops for the Gogebic Range Leadership Academy. She is the current President of the Board of Directors for Theatre North where she has served for 41 years and is a member of the Claudettes dance troupe who were honored by Michigan’s former Governor Jennifer Granholm for their philanthropic work for the Gogebic Range. She was the recipient of the ATHENA Leadership Award which is presented to a woman who is honored for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills.
