Charlie led the non-profit Copper Peak organization from 1995-2022. His experience developing several ski jumping venues and his participation as a technical assistant in many sanctioned competitions has been instrumental in developing the long-range vision for Copper Peak. Charles spearheaded the revitalization of the facilities by encouraging substantial investments in the Copper Peak infrastructure allowing the organization to move to the next level and submit a bid for FIS certification and regular international competition. Charles is a retired educator having spent 39 years in the classroom at Gogebic Community College. For 20 years he served as Chairman of the Math/Science Division of the college. He holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from Purdue University.
